Restoration of the village signpost
Some thoughtless lorry obliterated our original traditional "finger signpost". It was re-erected and restored when we happened upon another signpost pillar that had been discarded in a nearby field. Click the blue link above and you'll find 5 photos. Here are a couple of examples:
Sandy Lane Relief Road - "progress" photos
Loathed by many in the village the Sandy Lane Relief Road is being built. Work started in early 2010 with the destruction of the fields and woodland. It's anticipated to finish in 2011. Click on the link above to see the photos as work progresses. Here are a couple of examples:
